Motherwort

I found this growing along my fence in my backyard, it's Motherwort - apparently good for women after child birth as well as for the heart - nervous system, and digestive tract. - source "Growing 101 Herbs that Heal" by Tammi Hartung.

That book by Hartung is a great book it's got tons of really good info on how to start maintain and how to harvest the herbs you grow.

The funny part about finding Motherwort growing is that I had just bought seeds to try to grow it myself in my herb garden... I guess it pays to walk around your property before laying out any money for seeds.

First Blog Post

I've been itching to Blog for years but have never had the time. One of my major issues is confining my thoughts to one particular idea at a time. So sorry if this blog is not very directed at first. I'm going to try to keep this blog on target with Topics on Gardening and Web development.

Ok stop laughing I'm serious, I'm a web developer by trade but I really enjoy growing plants in the garden. Specifically herbs - legal kind - and vegetables. Also starting to try some Hydroponic stuff too.
